What is the HSA?

“HSA” stands for Home and School Association. We are a non-profit organization (similar to a PTA) focused on fostering collaboration between parents and caregivers, teachers, and the school community. Our mission is to connect the home and school environments, to promote cooperation between parents and educators, and to work for the benefit of our students. This includes organizing volunteer hours and fundraising events to support school programs and initiatives.

Who is part of the HSA?

YOU! The annual membership fee is $45 per family. Your contributions make our community better by helping support our HSA programming and funding class parties.

This single, per family fee is new. We have streamlined dues this year so that the one payment will cover both your HSA membership and each child’s class party funds.

HSA dues are used to provide programming throughout the year including assemblies, student birthday bags, teacher gifts, and so much more! They help us offset the need for fundraising throughout the year and will allow you to vote in our annual elections.

Please pay your membership dues online at https://my.cheddarup.com/c/hsadues25-26

If you prefer to pay by check, please make it out to “Brookdale HSA” and submit to the school’s front office. We have a mailbox!
