Unfortunately due to the closing oF our school building we have lost access to the raffle tickets that are housed at the school. At this point in time, we will be pausing the calendar raffles until access can be gained to the building once again. We will keep everyone informed and hopefully be able to pick more winners in the upcoming weeks. If you have any questions please reach out to either Mary Spink or Laura Evangelista. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope everyone is safe and well!
Dear Brookdale HSA membership and parents, we hope that this post finds you all safe, sane and well at this time!
Attached below please find an important 2020/2021 Elections related letter from the HSA as well as open Board position descriptions for the 2020/2021 school year.
We currently have six (6) out of seven (7) positions that will be vacated come June 30th. With the majority of the board members’ terms expiring, it is critical that we have candidates and that our elections take place next month so the HSA can continue to function beyond the pandemic. There will be further details and instructions to follow from us as well as the Elections Committee.
Please review and in the meantime, if you have any questions feel free to reach out to the HSA Board or the Election Committee.
We’re happy to share that last Sunday the Brookdale HSA, along with Berkeley, Demarest, Bloomfield Middle, Bloomfield High, Carteret, Fairview, Franklin, Oak View and Watsessing HSA’s, as well as the Bloomfield Home & School Council partnered together and donated special Easter Baskets created by Holstens to the Mountainside Hospital staff.
Collectively just wanted to thank their hardworking staff for all they have done and continue to do during these trying times.
Greetings all. we hope this message finds you all well! As you all know, because of Brookdale’s closure, our meeting this month was postponed. Attached please find the minutes for our March 11, 2020 meeting. We hope everyone is well!
Good afternoon everyone! We hope this post finds everyone in our Brookdale Community healthy and safe! As the weather transitions from winter to spring and more families take socially distanced strolls around our neighborhood, we (credit: Megan Wilt & Ms. Barton) thought it would be a great during this break to start a community based art initiative where parents either create with, or have their child create art pieces that are displayed on the front doors, inside our storm doors or on the front facing windows of our homes.
The overall goal is to create an outdoor art gallery stroll of our students work so that kids and families get to see nice things while walking around our neighborhood.
We would like to incorporate the hashtags #BrookdaleStrong & #BloomfieldStrong into the artwork and also use these same hashtags on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram when you post any images so that we can track them.
Also, please tag our school Instagram account if you post it there: @07003Brookdale
