Important Book Fair Info
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held at Brookdale from Monday, May 16th to Thursday, May 19th. Students will only visit the Book Fair one time with their class. They will be allowed to browse the available books and purchase books during their class visit. Families may send in cash or check (payable to Brookdale HSA) for their students to shop at the Book Fair on Monday – Thursday. Please see the attached calendar for the date and time that each class will visit the Book Fair. There is no obligation to buy books. Families may also shop online or at the Family Times.
All of the info listed below can be found on our Scholastic Book Fair website at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/brookdaleelementaryschool3.
Family Times: The Book Fair will be open for parents/caregivers to visit with their children and purchase books together. Family Times will be:
Monday, May 16th from 3:30 – 4:30 pm
Wednesday, May 18th from 5:00 – 6:00 pm
Check, cash and credit card will be accepted at the Family Times.
Online Book Fair: The online Book Fair will run from 5/16 – 5/29 at www.scholastic.com/fair. Simply, go to the website, type in our zip code, and select shop now next to Brookdale Elementary School. This is a great option for parents/guardians who are not able to come in during the day or get to the Family Night. Online orders will be delivered to school and sent home with your child. We do not have any online teacher/school wishlists. Please feel free to use this option instead of sending cash or check in with your child.

Each class will visit the Book Fair once during the week at the time on the chart below. Classes are listed in the chart with their grade level followed by the first initial of their last name. For example, Mrs. Sedlacek teaches first grades, so her class is listed as 1S. Students may shop if they bring cash or a check from home.
